What’s happening this weekend in Nashville? Four Words.Live on the Green!

The season opener for the sixth annual concert series! This series brings local and national artists to the stage in Public Square, located in front of the Metro Courthouse. Blankets, folding chairs, strollers, and water bottles are welcome at this free six-week concert series. The line up for Thursday, August 14 includes Spanish Gold, The Weeks and City and Colour as the headliner. $5 parking available in the

Multi-talented legend Kenny Rogers will participate in a special interview. The expert-led conversation will take place in conjunction with the debut of “Kenny Rogers: Through the Years,” a biographical exhibit in the museum’s East Gallery opening August 15, 2014. Rogers will recount memories from throughout his history-making life and career during the interview. Archival photographs and video will supplement the storytelling. The new exhibit runs through June 14, 2015.​

Sample some of Nashville’s best craft beers at this crawl. Your ticket includes beer at each brewery and a shuttle to take you from brewery to brewery. The crawl begins at the corner of Pine and 11th. This is a 21+ event. The five participating breweries include Hops + Crafts, Jackalope Brewing Company, Rock Bottom Brewery, Yazoo Brewing Company and Craft Brewed. Food trucks will be available at Yazoo.
